Why Choose All-Grace?

  • We are a local agency who works directly with parents, students, schools, and host families in the Portland, Oregon area. As a local agency:
    • We decide and respond quickly in a student’s best interests without the need of getting layers of approval from any supervisor or any agency in the U.S. or abroad.
    • We offer a competitive agency fee and eliminate middle-man fee for our quality service.
    • We know our territory well. We are glad to use our experience and local contacts on behalf of our students.
  • The founders of All-Grace are Asian immigrant parents who have guided our children thru high school, university, and beyond. With the support of our partners, we are honored to be able to share our journey’s lessons to inspire students to grow and thrive as individuals through building friendships and mentorships, serving the community, developing strong character and leadership skills, and to continue their growth by being accepted into excellent colleges and universities.
  • At All-Grace, we understand firsthand the joys of studying internationally, along with the challenges. Our goal is to build personal relationships with international students and their parents with the shared interest of giving students the tools and guidance they need to excel academically, personally, and socially as they prepare to become a successful, independent college student.

Our program encourages strong partnerships among international students and their parents, local private Christian schools, our support team/local coordinators, and host families.

Our Support Team/Local Coordinators
We are readily available for students to contact, including for emergency support. Our goal is to guide and inspire students and to help students successfully resolve any issues that may arise. Where we differ the most from other agencies is that our process starts with building personal relationships with our students. We want to do everything we can to make sure students and parents feel comfortable throughout the process. Our local coordinators communicate on a regular basis with parents in order to update them on their student’s progress and to understand their wishes and expectations for their students so that we can act in the student’s best interests. We understand firsthand many of the challenges that international students will face in adjusting to a new culture, speaking a new language, and fitting in socially, all while being challenged in school. We have the experience and passion to help students excel in their new environment.

Our local coordinators are student advocates that are available to answer questions, mediate and resolve issues, and help coordinate involvement in extracurricular activities and sports. We will welcome the student upon arrival at the airport, match students with the right host family, as well as meet with students regularly (at least once per month) to support students, give them guidance, as well as to monitor their academic performance and well-being throughout the year. We also send a monthly report to parents to keep them updated on the student’s progress and well-being.
