Student Life

While studying in the USA, students are given the opportunity to pursue their potential through education. They will be living with a host family, experiencing American culture, attending private school, making new friends from diverse backgrounds, building life-long friendships, and growing in independence and self-confidence. This will prepare them for university/college life and for their future professional careers.

Being a smart student in your home country with high grade point average (GPA) and high SAT/TOEFL scores is no longer enough to get accepted into top tier colleges or universities. Most international students who study high school in the USA will have an advantage in college admissions decisions because their life experiences show maturity, independence, well-roundedness, diverse skills, and a willingness to go out of their comfort zone in the pursuit of education.

We are aware that every student comes with different and unique strengths, passions, and natural-skill sets. We help students to choose the right classes, motivate them and provide guidance and resources to maintain or improve their GPA, and encourage them to join extra-curricular activities such as music, sports, community service. These experiences will help improve students’ English proficiency and develop invaluable life skills.

One of the benefits of studying in America is that students will be exposed to a different education system, culture, and way of life. Host families are involved with our program because they have a heart for international students. In return, we encourage students to share their own culture and values with their host families. We have seen many students begin fulfilling lifelong friendships this way.

Private Christian Schools
American private high or middle schools often encourage independent studies to help expand students’ horizons. Private schools usually offer a various selection of academic, athletic, and extra-curricular programs. Our partner schools all have a reputation for academic excellence and a safe and nurturing environment. These schools have established international student programs, which will help make students’ transition to studying in America less frustrating. They also offer additional resources to students including ESL courses, tutoring, and college admissions guidance.
